TOY BOX

Toy Box is a modular typeface built from a small set of interchangeable pieces — rounded rectangles, arches, and circles that slot together to form a full alphabet.

The HOLE variable axis controls how hollow or solid the circular cutouts appear, letting you dial between a bold, chunky feel and something more open and airy.

Shrink the holes down and you've got something bold and heavy. Open them right up and suddenly it's meccano, a neon sign, a toy waiting to be assembled. That whole range lives in one slider. The counters aren't just part of the design, they are the design. :)

Geometry can be a bit of a liar. A circle sitting on the same baseline as a rectangle will always look like it's floating, so rounds overshoot, flat edges hold the line. What reads as even is actually a bunch of tiny white lies working really hard underneath. Lovely stuff.
